Welcome to 3 days safari with Covers Tours and Travel to Masai Mara National Reserve.
Masai Mara is a large National game reserve in Nairobi, Kenya, contiguous with the Serengeti National Park in Tanzania. It is named in honor of the Masai people, the ancestral inhabitants of the area, who migrated to the area from the Nile Basin. Their description of the area when looked at from afar: “Mara” means “spotted” in the local Masai language, due to the many short bushy trees which dot the landscape.
Masai Mara is one of the most famous and important wildlife conservation and wilderness areas in Africa, world-renowned for its exceptional populations of lion, African leopard, cheetah and African bush elephant. It also hosts the Great Migration, which secured it as one of the Seven Natural Wonders of Africa, and as one of the ten Wonders of the World.
The Greater Mara ecosystem encompasses areas known as the Masai Mara National Reserve, the Mara Triangle, and several Masai Conservancies, including Koiyaki, Lemek, Ol Chorro Oirowua, Mara North, Olkinyei, Siana, Maji Moto, Naikara, Ol Derkesi, Kerinkani, Oloirien, and Kimintet.
You will be picked up at the airport / Hotel within Nairobi by the stipulated company vehicle where the tour will begin.

Drive to Masai Mara National Reserve
(7.30 am – 2.00 pm)

We will be driven along the Great Rift valley of Kenya towards Camp / lodge where you will have lunch.
You’ll check in at hotel, unpack and relax as you wait for the afternoon game drives.
Game drive in the park where you will get to see various Wide-open grass plains, scattered acacia bush and a variety of wildlife like black rhino, lions, leopards, cheetahs, hyenas, buffaloes, giraffes and diverse bird life with over 400 species with the rooftop of the car opened for great views and photography. After the game drive you’ll leave the park and head to the lodge for dinner and relaxation.
You will be served early breakfast in buffet style at the lodge.
Dine and Accommodation
Meal plan: Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner.
After breakfast you will enjoy a full day in the Masai Mara National reserve from 8:00 am – 12: 00pm and search of the big five of Africa under the open roof of a tour vehicle with picnic lunch packed that will be served as picnic lunch. The Big Five of Africa are the African Elephant, the lion, rhino, Buffalo and the leopard and a variety of bird species of more than 200 species.
You will have a stopover in the wild and enjoy lunch that will be served as picnic lunch( 2.00 pm – 3.00 pm – Picnic Lunch)
After lunch, relax a bit then proceed with an afternoon game drive at the park in search of the Big Five of Africa until the African sunset in the wild savannah. And relax with the beautiful sun set. (2:00 pm – 5.30 pm – Afternoon game drive)
At 5:00pm you’ll return back to the lodge where you will relax and await dinner to be served.
Dinner will be served at 7:30pm to 8:00pm in buffet style.
You will be served breakfast at around 7:30am in buffet style with various delicacies prepared by the lodge.
After breakfast you will be driven to the famous Masai Cultural village where you’ll enjoy an educative session on the lifestyle of the Maasai culture and cultural dances of the Masai which is very interesting.( 8.00 am – 9.00 am ).
After drive back to Nairobi which is an approximate 5/6 hrs. drive and be dropped back to the respective hotel/ airport to take the scheduled flight.
