Day 1 - Arrival and Hotel Transfer

You will be picked up from the airport by our company representative. He will transfer you to your destination in Kampala. We can take you to explore Kampala town city depending on your time of arrival. Your night will be spent in Kampala and our company Covers tours and Travel will ensures you feel at home.

Day 2 - Departure to Kibale National Park

You will begin your journey to Kibale Forest National Park. The drive is incredibly scenic, passing through tea plantations and the exclusive green countryside which characterizes so much of Uganda, it’s about 7 hours’ drive. On route you’ll stop for lunch in Fort Portal town. After your lunch you’ll drive one more hour to the Primate Lodge an exclusive eco-lodge situated in the heart of Kibale Forest National Park. The lodge has about 8 lavish safari tents, 7 friendly cottages secretly located in the forest and a cultural fire dancing place where evenings are usually enjoyed to give you all the warmth you need.

Day 3 - Chimpanzee Tracking and Hiking

Start you day early, enjoy your breakfast then head to experience chimpanzee life styles in Kibale Forest National Park which boasts the highest number of primate species in the world, approximately 5,000 chimpanzees live in the wild in Uganda, which makes it a perfect place to spot them! An experienced ranger will take you to chimp tracking in the morning. You might also see other primate species that live here. Once you locate the chimpanzees, you will have a full hour of eye-to-eye contact with them. Trust me it’s a good experience one shouldn’t miss out.

You’ll have a packed lunch and Dinner at the lodge.

Day 4 - Transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park
Day 4 - Transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park

Our driver/guide will pick you from your lodge very early in the morning to transfer you to Bwindi which will takes about 6 - 7 hours to your lodge in Bwindi. Dinner and overnight at Broadbill Forest Camp in the middle of the forest, calm and peaceful with a fantastic view of Bwindi Impenetrable Forest.

Day 5 - Gorilla Tracking

Enjoy early breakfast and later report to the park head office at 07:00 for your briefing on the code of conduct while trekking. This last between 2-7 hours to locate the giant, have an hour with them and after this encounter, return to the starting point for certificate of participation before driving to your lodge. Have lunch and in the afternoon, proceed for a guided cultural tour to the Batwa pygmies to enjoy the cultural part in Uganda and learn more about their daily practices which is very interesting.

Day 6 – Return to Kampala/ Entebbe
Day 6 – Return to Kampala/ Entebbe

You’ll have your breakfast in the morning, after check out at the lodge and depart with great memories of the moments spent with fascinating chimpanzees and mountain Gorillas. Transfer back to Kampala/Entebbe on your way you’ll have a stopover at the Equator and Lunch en-route then proceed to Entebbe airport where you will catch your flight back home.
